Welcome to the Chapeltown Homing Society webpage.
This society has been established for over 80years, is affiliated to the Derbyshire and South Yorkshire Region of the Royal Pigeon Racing Association,and is dedicated to the sport of pigeon racing.
The Society currently has 10 keen and competitive members, and the society itself is a member of Barnsley & District SR Federation, who convoy our birds to the liberation sites and who are also responsible for the Liberation site arrangements, as well as the transport,welfare and liberation of our birds .
It is hoped to promote our club, its activities and the sport in general through these pages. Please check out the library and news pages, which will be updated as the season progresses. This site is a new venture for me and the club and construction should be treated as work in progress, so hopefully you will bear with us over the coming months.
