On Tuesday 19th May we met for our annual general meeting and image of the year.
The AGM was short this year as there were no changes to discuss. We mostly focused on the upcoming year and what events we might get involved with.
Consequently, we were able to get onto the impressive range of member images early. It was really pleasing to see so many of the members bring along their prints. The voting was as tight as ever with only two votes being needed to vote off images in the early rounds. As we got towards the end, it was nature and landscapes which seemed to be avoiding the chop and, fittingly, it was a Norfolk broads landscape and a nature image which came first and second. Only at this point did it become apparent that the same photographer had taken both - Fran Grimsdell.

As we look forward to 2016-17, we have evolved into a club which is much smaller but where we all know each other and help each other. If this is the type of club which interests you, why not give us a call or drop an email (see contact page).
