We appreciate feedback about your stay at Casita de las Estrellas.

April 2018
We really enjoyed our stay at your casita in Montejaque. Everything we needed was there, even wood for the fireplace. The house was very clean, well organized and cozy. We really felt at home there. Also the communication with Patricia and the local contact person went very smoothly. Highly recommended

Casita de las Estrellas.
We've just had 10 days in this lovely cottage in the peaceful village of Montejaque. The location is superb with a glimpse of the impressive cliff face visible from the patio. It's a short walk to reach a track giving glorious vista's over the mountainous scenery. If you're into wildlife, the birding is great, seeing Griffon vultures and Booted Eagle without even moving from the patio. We bought a book called Walking the Mountains of Ronda and Grazelema by Guy Hunter-Watts and published by Cicerone. This gave excellent guided walks from Montejaque and other beautiful villages just a short drive away. Well worth the £9.95 price tag. The cottage was ideal. It was very well equipped and attractively furnished. Apart from the bedroom there is a lovely sitting room that has patio doors leading on to the patio. Being late March the evenings were chilly and the woodburner was perfect for providing extra cosiness. Plenty of fuel was provided. A couple of good restaurants in the village meant no evening driving unless you wanted to travel further afield. The cottage is nicely furnished with lots of lamps to give subtle lighting and there is absolutely no traffic noise as cars seldom venture up the steep tracks. Although it was no problem to us, the cottage is situated up a steep, narrow road leading up from the attractive square. The car is left a good couple of hundred metres away and you need to walk. It is very atmospheric though and quite a change from most British holiday locations. The owners were very helpful and wanted to make sure we had a good stay and were more than willing to answer any questions. A great holiday and a highly recommended location for people who'd like an active break in a beautiful, friendly and peaceful village.

September 2016
The house was so beautifully clean and stocked with everything we needed; it looked totally untouched. We loved the views, we managed enough time at the beaches and loved the friendly locals during the August feria. I would recommend highly to anyone looking for time in 'real' Andalucia rather than on the coast which is far too touristy for me. I wish we could have stayed longer than a week.

We enjoyed our 9 nights in September 2016 very much indeed. The cottage has been well-designed and provides extremely comfortable accommodation in all respects. Montejjaque is a very picturesque village and nestles in the mountains.Patricia was very helpful with all our enquires and paid great attention to detail.Thank you very much ,we would certainly recommend the cottage and would hope to stay again.

We stayed for a week in May with glorious weather and fantastic scenery. We did a lot of walking and the wild flowers at this time are amazing! The cottage couldn't have been better. It is well equipped, and so comfortable with a beautiful sunny patio where we had breakfast every morning. May thanks!
