This is a well-situated self catering holiday house merely a few dozen yards from the High Street  with its shops, bars and restaurants and the historic cathedral ruins. This semi-detached 1½ storey house is available to let for short and long stays. Only 12 miles north of the city of Inverness. Fortrose lies  in the heart of the Black Isle. 

Watch the Moray Firth dolphins play off Chanonry Point,  within walking distance of the house or book a boat trip from Avoch or Cromarty to get even closer and also do a spot of bird watching. There are many beautiful country walks throughout the Black Isle. Visit the neighbouring villages. Cromarty, at the tip of the Black Isle, home of the famous Hugh Miller, geologist and writer.Visit his thatched roof cottage. Learn the history of the town at  the Courthouse  Museum using audio and visual tapes and animated figures. Re-enact a scene from  the local court . Take a walk up the 100 steps to the top of the South Souter where you can picnic while enjoying the magnificent view and maybe see the dolphins or a cruise ship sailing by  to Invergordon. Spend an afternoon on Rosemarkie's  sandy  beach with its cafe and playing field. Or play a round of golf on the local course. After a busy day relax in Carseden's sheltered sunny back garden or in the conservatory. If you don't want to cook there is the Chinese or Indian take aways in Avoch  only a couple of miles away or the local chip shop. To dine out there are a variety of hotels and restaurants in and around the Black Isle. Everything you need for an enjoyable,relaxing holiday all within easy reach.

Carseden sleeps 4-5 people comfortably. Safe fenced gardens front and rear, garage and drive.
