Things I am Thankful For
by Alex Cook - 19:44 on 18 August 2007

I am thankful that He loved me so much that He wrapped Himself in human form and paid the price for me that I would have eternal life. How much am I thankful? He gave me peace, joy, security, friendship and communion with Him, power and authority to conquer my enemies, strength during adversity, healing for infirmities and Love unexplainable. On top of that He has never left me nor has He forsaken me. I am always on His mind. He has been better to me than I have been to myself.
And to top it all off, He has given me a husband that is finer than the most expensive wine, children that are healthy and whole, parents that have encouraged me every step of the way, and friends who have been there through thick and through thin.
Yes I have a lot to be thankful for, so many things in fact, I think I will tell more.
He wakes me early in the morning to speak sweetly in my ear, and gives me the sunrise and sunset as a feast for my eyes. To feel the wind caress my face and smell the flowers in bloom are other things I am thankful for. There so many more but alas, I need to walk out the door. Too much to do and to little time.
Shalom,
Candace
