He Is Working on the Left
Psalms 42:1-4
Job 23:8-9
Have you ever been to that point where you just can’t figure out where God is? You know He is around somewhere or at least you hope He is! Good God! What if all you believed about Him is not so? These are the thoughts that run through all of our minds when we can neither track or trace Him.
It is like he is playing hide and seek from us. You want to say “Come out, come out where ever you are!” “This is not fun now and I am tired of playing this game!”
There is a passage in the Bible that talks about when we seek Him we shall be found of by Him. But how many of us get tired of the seeking and not being able to apprehend Him? I know I do at times.
But you know what I have found out through my seeking?
The search for God is a primary step into worship
The very fact that we search for Him indicates that HE has become essential to us.
There are billions of people who seem to live their lives without noticing that something is missing
When we separate ourselves from those that don’t seem to notice the void, we are saying “ GOD I NEED YOU “
This is worship!
f we didn’t need Him desperately, we could easily be satisfied with carnal things.
God instructs us to seek Him but not as if He is hiding from us. He is not playing hide and seek.
When we seek Him it is for our benefit as well as His
When we seek Him, we make a conscious decision that is necessary for bringing us into the realm of the spiritual.
When we pursue God we are rewarded in the development in our character.
There is no one way to seek God.
Some seek Him in tears quietly
Some seek Him on lonely walks through the woods
Some seek Him by loud praise and adoration
There are no rules- just that we seek Him with our whole hearts.
God knows what it will take to bring us into a place of searching
For searching releases answers “ Seek and Ye shall Find” Matt 7:7
There are times in our lives when human answers just aren’t good enough, it takes an all out search for a Word from the Father.
Take Job for instance HE was going through an all out crisis. His finances were utterly depleted,
His livestock were destroyed
His crops were gone
It was if Bill Gates had lost every dime he possessed.
It is scary to think that a sequence of events can drastically alter our lives.
Job lost his children, his marriage was falling apart and if that wasn’t enough his health was gone
Have you ever gone through a time in your life where it seemed like some one cast a bad spell on you? Everything that could go wrong, did?
Job said “ Behold I go Forward and HE is not there” Job 23:8-9
Job knew that only the presence of the Lord could bring comfort to his pain!
Your search alone is worship
When you seek Him it means that you value Him
Don’t give up! The enemy will try to convince you that you are alone.
Because He doesn’t want you to come into the presence of God
The right hand of God sembolizes power and authority
The left hand of God is where he does his work
I n my times of crisis, many times I found myself searching for the place of rest rather than the answer.
For if I can find God then I don’t need to find Money
If I can find God I don’t need to find Healing
IF I can find my Father I don’t need to find Peace
If I can just but find Him
My needs become insignificant when I lift them up in the light of His Presence
There is no problem when God is there!
Have ever considered the mere Presence of the Almighty? He doesn’t have to do anything but be there and ALL things have got to change!
His presence demands it. ALL Things have to line up to the Devine order of GOD!
Shalom,
Candace
