A wave of cautious optimism can be clearly seen in the Organic sector this year with the outlook far rosier than the same period last year. Superb grass growing conditions have boosted everyone, none more so than our Organic producers who need good home grown forage to avoid expensive bought in feeds.

Organic beef values remain at around the improved 380p/kg levels with a glimmer of improvement in the throughput problems we've seen in recent weeks.

On a very positive note, organic lamb is in strong demand.  We would really urge organic lamb producers to cash in now whilst we have a strong premium. The economics of selling now is very attractive, even at lighter weights, so please get in touch with your fieldsman or the Farm Stock office.
