Organic cattle and lamb are both trading at approximately 420p/kg, a healthy margin over conventional prices. We have space next week for organic OTMS so please contact us if you have any available. We have some milky Hereford and Angus heifers for sale if anyone is looking for suckler cow replacements. Lamb Supply Chain Meetings

a new project co-ordinated by QMS, Farm Stock Scotland and facilitated by SAC COnsulting.  Three regional groups, meeting 7 times in the next 15 months to investigate the links in the Lamb Supply Chain, with farmers, hauliers, processors and retailers. All welcome to attend any of the following meetings (more dates to follow)

Borders:- Tuesday 28th meeting in the Lodge Hotel Carfraemill  January, starting at 12 noon for light lunch and 1pm for the meeting

South West:- Thursday 30th  January 2014, 7:30pm at the Buccleuch Arms Hotel, Thornhill.

Central:- Thursday 27th  February 2014, 7:30pm at the Inchyra Grange Hotel, Falkirk.
