With Organic finished cattle coming forward in larger numbers as we enter the autumn, we have seen an unprecedented drop in the price from 530p/kg to around 470p/kg. While this price is not what we've become used to over the past few months, it is a premium of 60p or so and well above the days of 300p/kg.  Needless to say we are doing our best to ensure the best deal for our organic members. In contrast, it is fantastic to see that organic lamb is subject to a modest premium with prices around 390p/kg.
