Three players from the RFC competed in the Triangular competition today.  With it proving difficult to draft in complete teams a short notice Tansy Mayfield and Kon Tomczyk joined up with Jess Lipitz-Robic of Penarth - and had a promotion to Wales 1 for the day!  Meanwhile, Barbara Vaughan was drafted in as emergency replacement for Phil Bradshaw (playing as Wales 4 with Joanie Roberts and Gay Evans), who had to leave after 3 games.  The weather was dry - but VERY cold for May.  Wales had a great morning, leading 7-1 at half time.  The afternoon session proved more of a challenge with only a further 3 games won.  It was enough, however, to seal the win and Wales won the inaugural triangular with 10 games, with West Midlands shading Great Western into 3rd place on points- both regions having won 7 games.
