The Grand Prix series for 2012 is now complete.  The RFC has, as always, done well with 6 players making the Welsh squad for the Home Nations and Inter-regionals. 

Tansy Mayfield (playing with Gemma Foster & Julie Bailey) were in 5th place – the third year in a row that she has ended up in 5th after the qualifying rounds (and as there are no play offs this year she can’t be demoted!).  Kon Tomczyk, Julie Beresford & Peter Beresford (along with Stewart Spencer) got 6th place and will be joining Tansy at the Home Nations in July.  Shun Price & Paul Mayfield (playing with Jim Page & Gareth) paid for their poor show in the first round making 9th place, despite good results in the next 3 grand prix.

Pat Daviss (playing with Bob Pugh, Karen McLeod and Dan Murphy), and Mike North & Jan Price (playing with Jack dobbins and Mel) didn't make the cut, unfortunately but can build on this for next year.
