While we've been having some fantastic friday nights at BTM youth club with no issues we have had a large number of new members who weren't aware of these so here are some important rule reminders to all BTM youth club members
1) Respect your fellow members and the staff volunteers, any incidents of bullying will be dealt with immediately.
2) Anybody suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed entry and will be asked to leave, all incidents of this nature will be reported to Bedwas police.
3) Energy drinks are banned within club and you will be asked to dispose of them before entry or collect them at the end of the night
4) You will be asked to leave any large backpacks or bags with the staff on the door.
5) No scooters/skateboards/blades or skates into the hall they can be left at the main door but at YOUR risk
6) Respect the hall, facilities and the resources that includes no feet up on tables, no drinks or sweets by the gaming section and putting YOUR rubbish into the bins provided. Any damage caused maliciously WILL result in a ban, parents and police being advised and no return until the damage is paid for.
7) Be a part of your club - give staff your thoughts and ideas whatever they are without your feedback we can't develop or come up with new games and activities.
8) If you have any issues or worries at club then make sure you tell a member of staff, we'll always take every comment or issue seriously and will always try to deal with it best way possible.
9) You must complete and return a signed membership form within two weeks of your first visit without this there is no entry I'm afraid, this is a must in case of accidents. You must also ensure you pay your 50p entry, it may seem cool to think you've sneaked in without paying but at the end of the day it's the door money that's paying for new games etc for you so if you don't pay it then don't be expecting the newest FIFA !
If you think there should be other rules on here then let me know ASAP (try and keep them sensible though !!)
Although we do have to have these rules in place any incidents happen rarely so for that all the staff would like to say a massive thank you to all our members for being so fab :)
