This weekend we played in the annual Umbro International tournament and after a fine group stage in which our results were:-

Broadway FC 2 Meivel United of Spain 0

Broadway FC 2  FK Prelegentai of Lithuania 1

Broadway FC 1 Salford Celtic 1

Broadway FC 3 Boynton Sports of Sheffield 2

After finishing 2nd in our group only on goal difference to Salford Celtic, we played The winner of group H which was Chili International, a team from London who had won all 4 group games.  We battled superbly but unfortunatley lost 1-0 to a last minute goal.

All in all the tournament was a great success with some encouraging performances, not least from new signing Gary Rowbotham who showed he will be a great acquisition for the coming season.
