We are pleased to announce that Chris Heaton Harris MP has agreed to become Hon President of BRANE. MP for Daventry since May 2010 Chris has been involved in many local campaigns against windfarms and unwanted development based on plans issued by the West Northants Planning Unit. He sits on two Select Committees in the House of Commons, the Public Accounts Committee and the European Scrutiny Committee. Whilst serving as an MEP in 2009 he was named as the 'most hard working committed to transparency and accountability'.

Chris lives at Pitsford and is a local football referee.
