Breakthrough in design for electronic organs

In 1980 there were around 30 makes of electronic organs - instruments that the family could play at home.

Today, in 2010, there are less than half a dozen brand names. Famous names like Yamaha and Technics no longer export electronic organs to the UK.

Why?  Yamaha, for an example, make these instruments for their home market and for some other countries.

One reason put forward is that a single manual keyboard can produce all the sounds of a two manual organ with a pedal board.   It is said that they are cheaper to produce and cheaper to transport.   So one must wonder if the main motive is profit?

Many say that manufacturers are denying music enthusiasts the right to play with two hands and two feet.   One cannot argue that is it is more satisfying to play this way.

The new BRAND X electronic organ allows players to do just that - play like the masters of years ago.

The BRAND X instrument uses two chosen keyboards with a pedal board - all in a custom made cabinet.

A photograph is better than a thousand words - as you will see from our picture gallery - so have a look, and see the instrument of the future.
