Give us a Mile in your own Style

A huge thank you to the supporters who gave us a mile in their own style on Saturday 20 June and helped the Association raise funds towards the Sports Pavilion building project.

We had runners and walkers of all ages, people walking dogs and prams, children on space-hoppers and scooters...and much more.  It was a family occasion in the sunshine.

Some raced against the clock and the winners were announced and medals presented by Gary McAllister, Scottish international footballer and Leeds United and Liverpool legend, at Bramham Gala on 27 June.

The winners and their mile times were:

Junior Female - under 12 years

Lauren Day - 12 mintes and 9 seconds

Junior Male - under 12 years

Max Lofthouse - 11 minutes and 54 seconds

Intermediate Male - 12 to 15 years

Alexander Pearce & Vila Halafihi - both in 8 minutes and 24 seconds

Senior Female - 16 to 59 years

Cathy Taylor - 9 minutes and 6 seconds

Senior Male - 16 to 59 years

Matthew Knight - 6 minutes and 31 seconds

Super Senior Female - 60 years and over

Moira Pool - 10 minutes and 16 seconds

Super Senior Male - 60 years and over

Richard Jessop - 10 minutes and 25 seconds
