Two members of The Bradbury Centre were taken on a helicopter trip recently - Tess Macload and Glady's O'Conner.

It had been Tess's wish on her 90th birthday in March, to have a flight in a helicopter because she had never flown before, even in a plane and Gladys was the fortunate winner of a draw at the centre to accompany Tess.

They were delighted with the trip and showed no nerves at all, unlike Lorraine and Stewart, apparently!

On landing they were presented with a helicopter pin each from the staff at PDG Helicopters as a memento of their day out.
