This year our project has been to make our garden more user friendly with easy access for the members of the Centre.

We were lucky to recieve funding from the Beinn Tharsuinn Winfarm Community Benifit Fund, this allowed us to construct a decked area to the right of the main door giving a pleasant area to sit and have a chat and coffee.  The deck has a walkway leading to the garden giving better access to that area where we now have a greenhouse giving us somewhere to grow our tomatoes etc.  Next year we hope to use the greenhouse to cultivate seeds with a view to selling plants to help pay for other items needed in the garden.  We have constructed four raised beds giving us plenty room to grow our own vegetables.

The area to the bottom of the garden where our memorial garden is situated gets a lot of wind damage, so we are in the process of constructing a fence to give some shelter to the roses.
