The Gala Water Otter
During a morning stroll last August on the banks of the Gala Water near Stow I saw something doing a bit of splashing about in one of the pools just infront of me!
At first I thought it was a dog in for a swim but there was no owners around then I realised it was an Otter and what a performance this animal put on as it darted from one side of the pool to the next searching for it's breakfast no doubt! I had my camera with me so I was very lucky to capture some nice pictures of the Otter in action one of which was published in the Border Telegraph Newspaper.
