Hello and welcome to Black Isle Dairy!
Launched in the summer of 2013, Black Isle Dairy is a small, family-run artisan ice cream company.
Using creamy pasteurised milk from our own Black Isle dairy herd of Holstein, Ayrshire and Jersey cows, our skilled milkologists make small batches of gelato-style ice cream, including frozen yoghurts, fruit sorbets and ice cream cakes, using fresh, local ingredients whenever possible, and always of the highest quality.
We have recently added Natural Yoghurt and unhomogensised Whole Milk to our range on offer. It is available to buy at the Farm and several other outlets including the Storehouse, Swordale Butchers in Bonar Bridge and Ryefield Farm shop in Tore.
Our production kitchen is based at Rootfield farm where we make all of our delicious ice creams. We have an Honesty shed on site where you can find all of our ice cream, yoghurt, whole milk, eggs, meat, bread, cheese and butter!
You can also find our ice cream, freshly scooped or in tubs, in selected farm shops, delis, restaurants, ice cream parlours and at events across the Highlands. Choose from the menu bar on the left to find out more.
