Newker Naturally

We have won an excellent award for a scheme that has run for the last three years at Newker Primary School in Chester-le-Street.  The Early Years section of the school work every Tuesday with staff from Biological Services on activities from "Dinosaurs" through "The Seashore" to "Gardening" and "Biodiversity & Sustainability".  The results of this activity show all around the Early Years section and the children have demonstrated their caring for and knowledge of the world around them.  The School and Helen from Biological Services were presented with certificates and a cash prize for this exemplary project.
