These ducklings hatching today are Bobbles, Silver Appleyard and Khaki Campbells. They will be coming into Primary schools after Easter to help with topics such as Dinosaurs, Growth, Ourselves and a whole host of Environmental themes.

Everyone enjoys the visits. One of our ducks called Clare, now three years old, recognises school adventure preparations and despite the fact that she is too grown up for school (in duck years she would have left by now) comes running and will not leave us alone or shut up until we submit and get her a transporter box so she can come along.
Clare obviously makes an impression as three year old children from Selby Cottage Nursery who planted bulbs with us, and Clare, wanted immediately to know where she was when we planted out the now six month old bluebells and snowdrops at the riverside nature area in Chester-le-Street.
Clare is watching you.

Just in case you are going to school.
