We are about to start the outdoor planting of tubers and indoor planting of Leek, Onion and Tomato seeds. At our nursery in York we have 20litre containers that have been planted with first early potatoes so they can be harvested during our sessions with community groups and schools in the coming year. Newker Primary Early Years section are getting to work on Tuesday with their preparations of the raised beds. St. Godrics RCVA at Wheatley hill are doing their annual bird watching month and they are feeding the birds some sunflower seeds that they grew last year.
