Newker Primary School Children and Staff have come up with a new name for Tuesday. Staff from Biological Services support the school with science, crafts and horticultural activities every Tuesday. The excitement generated by this has led the children to ask about "Paul Day". As can be seen from the card that we got this Christmas they have truly adopted Paulday into their week and thinking. They even have a song about Paulday which will appear on this site as soon as the children give us permission. The text of the poem goes:- "For all your time and effort we thank you both so much. We hope you like your card with our green fingered touch! We wish you both a happy Christmas and hope your New Year's merry. But we're counting down the days until the sixteenth of January! (Our next Paulday)" This is very touching and our heartfelt thanks go to the Children and Staff, as we hope they already know.
