Staff have been busy setting up a number of trials to see how plants grow under common stress factors encountered under cultivation.

This work forms part of a research contract to optimise plant survival and thus reduce costs for large scale growers and end users.

We carried out a similar project last year but that concentrated on Strawberry production.

Because we had good success with the Strawberry work we have been asked to examine a whole range of flowering and foliage plants this year.

Not long now and the special methods for Strawberries will be in action, lets hope we have the same effect on the species we work with this year.
