A cross curriculum revolution is taking place at Lumley Infant School.  The whole school are involved in environmental improvement, gardening and sustainable living.  this is not just a recreation, the topics go right into the science and impacts of environmental activities.

The rainwater harvesters, wildflower meadows and onset of flowering of their broccoli, pansies and heathers has led to the arrival of a helper who will motivate literacy, numeracy and imagination, her name is Petal and she was photographed looking around the grounds this morning.
