CLUB REOPENING UPDATE

___________________________________________________________________ CORONAVIRUS - CLUB RE-OPENING.

The Welsh Government has now agreed that Bowling Greens/Tennis Courts in Wales can open with effect from Monday 22nd June 2020. A Risk Assessment has been completed to enable the safe opening of our site. This will be displayed on-site for you to view. Please note that the infection rate in Anglesey is currently higher than other areas of the UK, including the current outbreak of Covid-19 in Llangefni. When Members attend the site, they do so at their own risk. In order to make this a pleasurable time for all, and to ensure the safety of our members we have had to introduce some rules as follows

KEEP WALES SAFE

• Only Club members allowed on the Bowling Green or Tennis Courts. Membership for 2020 will be for a half-year (£22.50 Adults, £2.50 Juniors) Note: If you have already paid for the full year, the overpayment will automatically be treated as part-payment of your 2021 subs unless you contact the Treasurer directly with other instructions (e.g. request a refund).

• You must pay your membership fee prior to booking your place on the green/court.No cash payments can be accepted at the clubhouse. Membership can be paid in one of two ways: (1) By cheque payable to Benllech & District Recreational Association and posted to our Treasurer, Geoff Heald (address above). (2) By online banking (using your name as a reference) Bank: HSBC Account: Benllech & District Recreational Association Sort Code: 40-30-14 Account No: 11060902 • Opening times 10am – 4pm every day. Bookings will be for periods of 1 hour. All bookings must be made in advance by ringing Gwyn Owen on 07518 032434. Gwyn will be in attendance on site.

• During this initial phase, only 1 game is permitted on the green/court at a time. You can play alone, with members of your household (family group), or with one other person from outside your household. Full social distancing must be maintained (2 metres). Once you have finished your game you must leave the site, to avoid unnecessary contact with other members.

• Every member attending the site must complete the on-site register (name, date and times must be recorded for track and trace purposes; bring your own pen. Important: Should any member, who has attended the site, show any signs of the virus, test positive for Covid-19 or are advised to self-isolate, please inform Gwyn Owen on 07518 032432 as soon as practicable in order that we can implement tracing your contacts at the club.

• Club Buildings and toilets will remain closed.(This will be reviewed as part of the next phase)

• Members must bring their own equipment – No club equipment will be available for use.

• Members should sanitise their hands and equipment before and after playing; bring your own hand-sanitizer. Please be aware that these rules could change at any point and could be withdrawn if the risk level increases

Thank you. Barbara Hulme, Secretary (barbarahulme@rocketmail.com)
