RE - CORONA VIRUS
Please see below the message from the CEO of the Welsh Crown Green Bowling Association regarding the closure of all greens affiliated to the Association as a result of the Coronavirus.
As a consequence, we have had no alternative but to close the green until further notification from the Association.
It is regretable that this course of action has been deemed necessary but I am sure that you will appreciate that the health of all our members and users of the green is of the utmost priority.
I shall of course keep you updated via the website on developments as they unfold.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE CEO

We at the WCGBA have received some feedback that whilst the direction relating to Coronavirus on competitions and leagues is unambiguous the same cannot be said of the advice on ’social bowling’ and whether Clubs should remain open to facilitate that.
Accordingly, I now wish to state that, particularly in the light of the Prime Minister’s statement tonight, it is the WCGBA’s unequivocal advice that all affiliated Greens be closed forthwith and until further notice. We have fully considered all factors that might mitigate against this advice and can find none.
