Tom won the south west reginonal award for unsung hero on December 07 2009 and was entered in the National show which was on Prime time BBC 1 He along with 15 other regional winners were invited to the premier show. Tom and Dave represented the club at the awards and met many sports men and women form all forms of sport. They were more interested in the boxers though(goes without saying), but had a wonderful time and gained more exposure for the club to be regonised this way.
