England No1 goalkeeper and Access Sport Ambassador David James visited Bristol's thriving Boxing Club in August to see for himself the difference Access Sport support has made to this once struggling club.  David spent hours talking to the local kids about how their involvement began with boxing and he persuaded the local Police Officers to drop into the club regularly.

'This place has opened my eyes. What is being done here is fantastic - these kids are getting away from the streets'

The coaches of Barton Hill invest their own time and money to ensure the club can continue to open its doors to local children, this would be impossible without the support from Access Sport and valuable contributions of fundraisers and volunteers.
