WELCOME to a website that looks at political correctness and how it has affected television programmes.
As everyone is aware, many shows are repeated on television and enjoyed by millions of viewers. There are, however, many programmes that are not broadcast because of present day attitudes that amount to what is called "Political Correctness".
Many say that this state of affairs has gone too far and that even comedians now have to be extra careful with their jokes.
In the 1970/80s there were television programmes that were enjoyed by millions but today are banned from broadcasting by various broadcasting companies.
With the development of the Internet, many of these shows can be seen again, and thanks to the Youtube share facility we are showing a selection on this website. The aim is to help you to decide if political correctness has gone over the top.
We have also included in our menu some Youtube videos that deal directly with political correctness in an effort to give a broader understanding about it.
Looking at the subject from another angle, the videos on this website, which are based on light hearted humour, must be compared with TV programmes based on violence, war and the pain inflicted on fellow humans, which many think is far worse.
Having said that, we sincerely hope that everyone will look on the bright side and enjoy the content of this website and end up with a smile on their face.
