'41 Conferences'

Many local Bahá'is were among the 3,200 who thronged to the Business Design Centre at Angel, Islington, at the beginning of the year for one of a series of Conferences sweeping the world at the behest of the Universal House of Justice.

Believers from Denmark, Faroes, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway,Sweden, the Irish Republic and the British Isles braved the elements to spend two days together in a huge hangar, where the programme included a combination of uplifting talks, presentations and workshops, with many  friends reunited after many years.

Everyone went back to their homeland with renewed commitment to work to alleviate the sufferings the world is going through and to hasten the process of the unification of the human race...
