From subtle ambiant background music to a party atmosphere, there is nothing like a live musician to make your occasion or establishment special.

I am Guy Porteous and I have been entertaining audiences both in the corporate sector, weddings, private functions and special occasions for over 25 years. 

For a musician there is no greater pleasure than to see people enjoying the music they play.  My ethos has always been to ensure that each and every occasion leaves my clients completely satisfied.  Whether subtle solo piano blending into the background or with my trio / quartet, providing a large variety of styles, from romantic popular ballads to swing to light jazz or to pops.  I aim to create the perfect mood for your special day.

I am based in the North West of England and play venues and events around the whole of the North West, including, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Liverpool and the South Lakes.

Of course, should you wish me to venture further afield to play at your venue, or to play on your special day then please contact me.

My gigs are a mixture of weddings, corporate events, birthday / anniversary celebrations and also providing dinner music for hotels and restaurants.

Currently enjoying residency with my partner, Sue, every Friday Saturday evening at The Bridge Hotel ,Prestbury. Now in our eighth year.

Every Tuesday and Wednesday lunchtime at Olympus restaurant,Bolton.

Regular Sunday lunchtimes at Housing units of Hollinwood.

Weekend slots at Huntleys coffee lounge,Salmesbury,Preston.
