Launch of the Strathpeffer Archaeology Trail App

The Strathpeffer Archaeology Trail App was launched today at Castle Leod in Strathpeffer by Calum MacDonald of Runrig.  The first of its kind, the Strathpeffer Archaeology Trail App, provides an audiovisual tour of 6 archaeological sites in and around Strathpeffer.  Narrated by Kirsty MacDonald, the App allows the user to experience each of the sites with their own personal tour guide and includes extensive layers of video and imagery with further information about the archaeology of the North of Scotland!  Developed and produced by Ross and Cromarty Archaeological Services, it is available now for £1.99 on the iTunes Store for iPhone, iPod and iPad and is also available for Androids.
