AHSFP started this game poorly, and conceded a goal after five minutes of play, to go 1-0 down. The FPs looked very tentative in possession , and it was the Forfar side  who looked the better team as they passed the ball quicker with better movement off the ball. The FPs gradually eased their way in to the game but were suffering from a severe lack of purpose in their play and conceded possession easily. The FPs found an equaliser when a Kidd cross was headed home by McLAREN for the equaliser, making the score 1-1. The FPs were given a confidence boost by this goal and started to gain authority in the game , with Kidd having some joy on the right wing. Kidd was played in by a fine pass from D.Smith and his inch perfect cross found Michael Gall at the backpost but his header just squeezed past the post. With Lowson relying on the counter attack, the FPs were caught out and a fine cross from the Lowson midfielder was headed home to make it 2-1 to the home team. The FPs continued to create chances, and Fenwick thundered his shot onto the bar when he seemed certain to score.

    The FPs started the second half on the ascendancy and continued to look the most likely to score, but lacked composure as they were presented with numerous chances. Sharp then  found himself one on one with the keeper but his effort was bundled clear by the keeper. SHARP soon made amends when he bundled home a corner to make it 2-2. The home team looked dead o their feet as the FPs pushed on , but again a counter attack saw the FPs back off and permit the Lowson midfielder to fire home a great effort to make it 3-2 to Lowson. As the FPs regrouped, FPs keeper Saunderson then saw red for retaliation after he felt he had been fouled whilst saving a Lowson shot. Fenwick took over in goals , and the FPs introduced Matty Gall and Riddell for Wilson and Kidd. The FPs continued to create some good chances and hit the bar from a Matty Gall header. The FPs then replaced Mclaren with G.Smith as they camped inside the Lowson penalty area but could not find a goal, and Lowson held on to take the points.
