An injury ravaged whites side were taken apart by the runaway league leaders at The Timperley Rec.  So many injuries meant that only 11 players could be named in the squad, however the make shift team in an unfamiliar formation started well, competeing with a team scoring on average 7 goals a game, and even creating chances themselves. However, a piece of bad luck on the half hour changed the game when Madely flapped at a corner and Bannister inadvertantly poked the ball into his own goal to give the home side the lead.  Some more bad defending let Big Shorts score 2 more before halftime.  Alty came out and seemed to simply throw in the towel after the break, conceeding another three, all from defensive errors, and with the exception of the impressive Cam Laws, never threatening the home team.  A dissappointing end after a good start, Alty Hale will simply have to improve for next weeks game against United Services.
