Alford Fiddlers were pleased to see Emma Gibb offer to help out for a few weeks in leading the group in practise sessions before returning to her studies. Emma, a student at Aberdeen University training to become a teacher of music, is an incredibly talented young fiddler who has played for many years with the Garioch Fiddlers and is a member of the Ceilidh Peppers Folk Rock Band (see links). We hope that this will be the beginning of a long relationship with the Alford Fiddlers too.
