A warm welcome to Airds Bay Mooring Association (ABMA).

Situated in Airds Bay at Taynuilt, Argyll, in the West of Scotland, the Association has a lease from the Crown Estate to manage and administer up to 50 moorings in an area of beautiful Loch Etive. The loch is ideal for pleasure sailing, sightseeing and fishing, with more than 30 species of fish to tempt anglers.

In addition, ABMA is actively taking part in proposals to develop recreational facilities at the main pier on the loch, which may include a pontoon, a launching area and other projects to enhance member and visitor experience.

ABMA works closely with the Crown Estate through Bidwells in Perth and has a Constitution including Rules which cover the laying and position of moorings, mooring tackle maintainance and a strict policy that all vessels using moorings within the designated area must have insurance cover.

Other attractions on the loch include boat trips or hire. Taynuilt village has a variety of shops to cater for day visitors, or for those who holiday at the hotel or in self catering or caravan facilities locally available.
