The Croft

The croft is situated on the North side of Loch Etive, along the road to Bonawe. The croft comprises of two fields; 10 acres on the North of the road, on the Moss of Achnacree, much of which has reverted to native birch woodland; and a 5 acre field lying between the road and the Loch, on which we propose to build a house and are currently cultivating. This croft has been in our family since the end of the nineteenth century and, although it has not been a working croft all that time, is now well on the way to providing for many of our day to day needs.
