Established since 1990, the service was born from the remains of Equity's casting information service,

'Job Grapevine'.

After the service was dissolved, the need for a friendly no-nonsense publication was realised.

A service which wasn't out to get as much money as possible from the desperate need to know what is going on in the industry, but to provide a quality newsletter at a reasonable rate.            So ACID was conceived.
