The European Club

Located in Brittas Bay, Co. Wicklow, The European Club was
designed by and is owned by Pat Ruddy, the famous Irish
links architect.  This is a superb but tough new-age links
which bizarrely boasts not 18, but 20 holes of golf with
Padraig Harrington winning the Irish PGA here the week
before his Open victory at Carnoustie.  The course record at
the European Club (67) is held by Tiger Woods, the day he
turned up out the blue with pals Mark O'Meara, David Duval
& Scott McCarron for some pre-British Open links practice
in 2002!
