The Island

The Island is a magnificent old-style links layout with water on
3 sides and overlooks the stunning Malahide marina.  Uniquely
the course begins with eight par 4s in a row; each better than
the other.  Huge dunes protect this fair and famous layout
which is currently the British Open Regional Qualifying course
for Ireland.  Darren Clarke boasts the course record with a 63
in the 1999 Irish PGA Championship.
