My friend Mary has written a beautiful poem for the Lairg WW1 project "Between the Lines" and  I  have chosen her title as the title for my whole exhibition-----  "I Wait for Word" -- because it can mean many things   a nation waiting for it's   leaders to make a descision on whether to go to war or not, a soldier waiting for the word to "go over the top" or retreat, or as in this poem waiting for a letter
