CRAKEHALL

 

Cricket as been played on the village green at Crakehall for at least 160 years.

We were a member of the Wensleydale Cricket League which once played on Saturdays untill the demise of the league & became founder members of the present Wensleydale Evening Cricket League which we now play in Division 2. We are also members of the Nidderdale & District Amateur Cricket League on Saturdays.

We also enjoy friendly matches & regularly play against the cast & friends of the T.V. programme 'Emmerdale' for various charities.
