Over 20 people turned out to hear Bill Graham speak on 'Energy Future' in an event hosted by Culbin Model Engineering Club. In this talk, he set out the global economic situation, and highlighted the challenge of rising energy demand. he looked at options for future energy supply, and outlined a radical new way in which the energy output of wind turbines could be stored and used by communities. There was much discussion.

Bill is a former technical Director of one of the UK's leading post-war industrial laboratories, the TI Technology Centre at Hinxton Hall, and he is used to tackling engineering challenges. His new idea of energy storage from wind turbines is one that we're looking forward to hearing more about.
