The official newsletter of Cold Ashby Parish Council, Countrylife, was available here but, regrettably, appears to have ceased publication since the retirement of the previous chairman. At present (May 2018) you can still access some back issues at the above link.

The Village Link also has a Cold Ashby News Page.

29 July 2018CAPEG TO TAKE MORE LOCAL ACTION

On Sunday 22nd July Cold Ashby Parish Environmental Group launched a new local action initiative with a successful ‘Litter Pick’.

Equipped with High-Viz vests, litter-grabbers , disposable gloves and rubbish sacks volunteers collected heaps of detritus, most of which was clearly thrown from the thousands of vehicles passing through our small village each week.

CAPEG is committed to making Cold Ashby an even better place to live.

Pictured above are two members of CAPEG, who are also Parish Councillors, tidying up the traffic calming chicane on West Haddon Road whilst the Litter Pick was in progress – clear evidence that our Parish Councillors are very much ‘hands on’ and determined to improve Cold Ashby’s immediate environment!

At the most recent meeting of CAPEG there was much shared enthusiasm and support for a variety of positive measures  – more details of these will be posted here soon.

Meanwhile … why not visit CAPEG’s own website for detailed information and updates?
