Welcome to Taskis Music Publishing

Taskis Music is dedicated to publishing guitar music. We are not restricted to any specific type of music and provide music spanning many different styles and difficulty levels. Primarily we publish original compositions plus transcriptions and  arrangements of compositions that are in the public domain. There are pieces for solo guitar and also for small ensembles. We also publish a number of teaching and study guides.

How is the music published?

Each piece of music is published in both standard music notation and guitar tablature.  The music is provided electronically as a pdf file. To assist in learning the pieces an audio copy is provided in both MIDI and MP3. In some instances we also supply copies of Renaissance music in French or Italian (Baroque) tabalture.

Can I print the music?

Yes, of course. The music can be printed on A4 paper for your own personal use. If you are a teacher then you can also print copies of our arrangements of Public Domain music for your students to use.

What music is available?

Currently we have arrangements of music by Matteo Carcassi, Fernando Sor, Robert De Visee, Ferdinando Carulli and other classical and baroque composers. We are constantly adding to our range of titles.

There are also arrangements and adaptations of music by Anton Bruckner and Franz Schubert.

Original music by John Hookham includes; Waterscape Suite, a selection of pieces including, The Turning Tide, Waterfall, Waves and Rainfall. Post Modernist is a collection of modern dance music for guitar and two cellos (or bass guitar) inspired by the work of Philip Glass and Oliver Messiaen. Minimalist Moods is a selection of classical guitar mood pieces for reflection and relaxation.
