Mindfulness retreat 2018
Holy Island, Isle of Arran
Wednesday 25th July – Wednesday 1st August 2017
This retreat is an opportunity to step out of the daily routine and be immersed in mindfulness practice. It aims to deepen our sense awareness of the mind/body, revive the intention and commitment to personal practice and orientate to a kinder way of relating to self, others and the world.
The retreat includes five full days of silence with a balance of guided practices in group, along with time each day for self-directed practice. Patricia and Vee will be available for one to one contact each afternoon should this be required. The intention is to provide a supportive holding of the silence, as well as spaciousness to experience the natural beauty and unique environment that the island has to offer.
This retreat is open to anyone who is experienced in Mindfulness practice and those who have attended an 8-week Mindfulness course with an extended period of time in silence. Also it is ideally suited to teachers and facilitators of Mindfulness courses as it meets the UK Network’s Good Practice Guidance requirement for a silent retreat.
Patricia and Vee are trained in mindfulness-based approaches including the MBSR, MBCT, MBLC and mindfulness-based psychotherapy.
The orientation of this course is entirely secular and is not affiliated to any faith tradition or religion.
The retreat has the capacity for approximately 25 participants.
The course fee is £250 and this will be required as a deposit to secure a place.
Cost (inclusive rate inc course fee):
£635 single, £530 twin each, £474 dorm.
