Intoduction to the buses of Swindon
Swindon is served by two major group operators, they are Go-Ahead South Coast (Thamesdown - Swindon's Buses & Salisbury Reds) and Stagecoach West.
Both Go-Ahead and Stagecoach operate Town Services and Country Services within and around Swindon. Details of services can be found on the Services Page.
This website is still a work in progress. Since I started this website there have been many changes to the buses within Swindon and the Surrounding Area. Operators have closed down (APL Travel, Go-Ride CIC & Hatts), Some have been sold (Thamesdown from Swindon Borough Council to Go-Ahead Group), Others have changed the work they do (SGBC from National Express to Stagecoach Megabus) and others have started operating bus services that (Akcess).
I am in the progress of major updates to the site and this will take some time as work and other commitments dictate.
