Psyche 2011

Psyche employs visual metaphors in order to elude what might have been an expected narrative but also to provoke or resuscitate other meanings and connections. These paintings refer very obliquely to Psyche Served by Invisible Spirits by Luca Giordano and the practice of visualising the invisible which painting reveals. Psyche # 1 and Psyche # 2 refer to the copper surface of that painting.
